COACHES COMMENTS:
"We only had a few competitors today on the men's side. Spring break is a break from the academic rigors of the academy but it is a period of significant work in the weight room and on the track. So I am pretty pleased with how our guys are balancing the workloads and still competing at a high level. Brinson and Doughty did a nice job in the hammer throw. They are going to continue to improve as we move forward into the season. Our javelin guys also showed some consistency. The meet tomorrow is as strong as it has been in our three years of coming out here. Northern Arizona has a strong team, Utah State is good across the board the Univ., of Calif., schools have some solid competitors. It will be pretty competitive so we should see some nice marks tomorrow and our people will be competing at the top of most events."
UP NEXT:
Army will continue action at the Spring Break Collegiate Classic with action kicking off with the field events at 9 a.m., (12 p.m., ET) and the track events at 12 p.m., (3 p.m., ET).
