"The Penn Challenge is a nice warm up for us as we head into the star meet next weekend. We competed here last year and had good results and today was very similar. We brought a skeleton squad and a lot of our young developmental kids and had some good performances across the board. We got lucky with the weather which is always a gamble this time of year. Individually, Briyah Brown put together a nice day and has become one of our most consistent performers. Calli McMullen also looked very good today. She is one of our most versatile and reliable athletes. We also had some young kids get out there and set some personal bests. I thought both Lynne Mooradian and Haley Watson did a nice job in the hurdles. That is a rhythm race and they will continue to improve. We didn't try to do too much today with the women's team. We had some improvements and some good competitive efforts and now we can look forward to the Star Meet next weekend."
UP NEXT: The Cadets will head to Annapolis for the Army-Navy Star meet in part of the Star Series presented by USAA next Saturday at 12 p.m.
