WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's track and field team will compete in the two-day Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell over the weekend.

- Briyah Brown took the title in the shot put with a throw of 15.15 meters
- Cori Lemere placed 11th out of 59 in the 100 meter dash (12.70) and 16th out of 44 in the long jump (5.34 meters).
LAST TIME OUT
- Army had a strong start, but eventually fell to the Mids 105-98 on Saturday.
- On the track, Yasheika Beckaroo captured gold in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.95s. Fellow classmate Calli McMullen was atop the podium in the 200-meter dash clocking 26.16s. In the 800-meter run, Cassie Mundekis placed first crossing the finish line in 2:13.86. Sophomore captain Abby Halbrook won the 5000-meter with a time of 17:44.81. The 4x100 meter relay team of Beckaroo, McMullen, Emily Malone and Whidney Desormo stood atop the podium with a time of 4:00.52.
- For the field events, Tya'tianna Johnson placed first in the triple jump with a leap of 11.36 meters. In the shot put, Brown was atop the podium with a toss of 14.49 meters. First-year Kamryn Brinson captured gold in the hammer throw with a distance of 50.28 meters.
