Black Knights Ready for West Chester 7s Tournament

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team hits the road this weekend for its third 7s tournament of the spring.
The Cadets travel to West Chester, Pa., to face off against host, West Chester, service-academy rival Navy, Molloy, Norwich, AIC and Bloomsburg on Saturday.
The Black Knights have placed second in both the AIC Tournament and Brown Tournament thus far.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
10:20 a.m. - vs. Navy
11:40 a.m. - vs. Bloomsburg
1:00 p.m. - vs. Molloy
3:00 p.m. - Semifinal 1
3:20 p.m. - Semifinal 2
4:00 p.m. - Finals
ARMY (7-2)
• Army earned a runner-up finish at last year's West Chester 7s Tournament.
• The Black Knights produced a record of 3-2 at the tournament with Chioma Odocha leading the team with five tries and 25 points.
• Rookie Bayleigh Gable leads the 2017 squad in scoring, contributing 112 points on 10 tries and 31 conversions in seven matches.
• Zye Crittington has dotted down 11 times, the most for Army this spring.
