Cadets Travel to Philadelphia for the Penn Relays

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's track and field team is heading to the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. Since its inception in 1895 it is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States.

LAST YEAR AT THE LARRY ELLIS INVITATIONAL
- Abby Halbrook, Cassie Mundekis and Payton Padgett teamed up in the distance medley where they collected a first place finish with a time of 11:46.91.
- In the shot put, Briyah Brown placed fifth with a throw of 14.14 meters.
WHAT TO WATCH
- The 4x100 meter relay team of Emily Malone, Calli McMullen, Whidney Desormo and Yeshika Beckaroo will try to place in the top five over the weekend.
- The distance medley team of Samantha Coletti, Lynne Mooradian, Mundekis and Halbrook will attempt to defend Army's victory last year.
