Army Heads to Dartmouth for NIRA Championships

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team is headed to Dartmouth for the NIRA 7s Championships this weekend.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
11 a.m. – vs. AIC
12:20 p.m. – vs. Harvard
2 p.m. – vs. Dartmouth
3:20 p.m. – vs. West Chester
4:40 p.m. – Championship match

ARMY (0-0)
• The Black Knights are looking for their second-straight NIRA 7s championship after defeating AIC, 15-12, at the Anderson Rugby Complex to claim the title.
•Army enters the tournament on an eight-match winning streak after capturing back-to-back tournament championships at West Chester and Bowdoin.
• Army's leading scorer is Zye Crittington, who has scored 114 points on 22 tries and two conversions.

THE FIELD
• The field consists of five teams: Army, Harvard, Dartmouth, West Chester and AIC.
• Army has faced every team in 7s this season except AIC.
• The Black Knights defeated Harvard, 26-10, and Dartmouth, 48-0, at the Brown 7s Tournament.
• The Cadets then topped West Chester on the road, 41-0.
