PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Army West Point men's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Penn Relays on Saturday.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

TRACK EVENTS

The 4x800 meter relay team of Alex Combs, Ben Boswell, John Monday and Tyrell Maddox placed 16th clocking a time of 7:43.91.

FIELD EVENTS

Lee Bares placed fourth in the pole vault with a height of 5.20 meters.

COACHES CORNER
"The highlight today was Lee Bares in the pole vault. Bares continues to find ways to compete at the top level each weekend. Now he is getting some good looks at the bars that he will need to clear if he wants to advance to the NCAA meet. This meet was a nice set up for the conference meet next weekend. We are all set to test ourselves at the Patriot League Championships."
