Army Departs for Brown 7s Tournament

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team will compete in its second 7s tournament of the spring at Brown on Saturday.
The tournament begins against Norwich (12:40 p.m.) before facing Molloy (1:40 p.m.). Army closes out pool play against Harvard (2:40 p.m.) and Brown (4 p.m.).
ARMY (3-1)
• The Black Knights opened the spring season with a 3-1 showing at the AIC Tournament, placing second behind Quinnipiac.
• Army defeated Norwich B, 62-0, Endicott, 47-7, and Norwich 52-5 before being set back by the Bobcats, 25-5.
• Rookie Bayleigh Gable led the team with 62 points on six tries and 16 conversions.
• Zye Crittington and Sam Sullivan added four tries apiece.
