COACHES CORNER
"Jacob Fong ran a smart well-paced race and the result was a significant improvement on his personal best and places him firmly in the NCAA first round meet in Kentucky in two weeks. Jacob is a very good competitor. We talked about trying to close well in the last kilometer and that is how he ran the race. We have been waiting fo that breakthrough for a couple of weeks now so I was happy for him that he did it now and positioned himself for another race in two weeks."
