Cadets Complete Ben Brown Invite Day One

WEST POINT, NY – The Army West Point women's track and field team concluded the first day of competition at the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, Calif.
Army ends the day in first place with 9 points, only 7 points behind first place, Cal St. Fullerton.

Field Events
- In the hammer throw, Kamryn Brinson placed third with a distance of 52.49m. Briyah Brown followed in fourth with a distance of 50.74m. Lauren Shultz claimed 12th, throwing for 38.54m.
- Isabel Olds finished in second in the javelin throw, throwing for a distance of 34.49m.
Army returns to competition tomorrow for the second day of the Ben Brown Invitational, as well as the Occidental Distance Carnival in Los Angeles.
