Army Set for West Coast Matchup

PALO ALTO, CALIF.- The Army West Point men's tennis team travels to California this weekend to face service-academy rival Air Force on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by Stanford on Sunday.

The Black Knights are looking for their third consecutive victory, after defeating Fairfield and St. Bonaventure at home last weekend.

ABOUT AIR FORCE

Air Force is entering the matchup with an overall record of 9-5.
They recently suffered a 5-2 setback against Weber State (Mar. 5).
In their last meeting against the Cadets, the Falcons were defeated 4-1 at the University of Michigan (Feb. 2017).

ABOUT STANFORD

The Cardinals are currently sit at the no. 3 spot in the ITA rankings.
Stanford is on a three-match winning streak, after defeating UC Davis, Cal, and Arizona State.
The doubles pair of senior Tom Fawcett and sophomore William Genesen advanced to the semifinals round of the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship last weekend, before falling to UCLA.
