The Black Knights are two shots back of the leaders from Youngstown State and Monmouth after shooting a team score of 278 (-2). The Penguins and Hawks both shot a 276 as a team.
During round one, Army and Bucknell were joined by the Veterans Golf Association team. The team finished day one at 16-over with Colter Kautzmann leading the way with an ever par round of 70.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
Coach's Corner with Chad Bagley
"We had a really clean front nine today; we gave away a few strokes on the back side that we'll look to clean up tomorrow. It was great to see we had all 5 guys at even par or better through 14 holes. Solid start, but we're looking to play to our full potential and we'll have to finish better tomorrow to achieve that goal."
