Herremans, Jackson Fall in Quarterfinals at ITA Super Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. - After being added to the field of 16 at the ITA Northeast Super Regionals, the doubles team of Cooper Jackson and Paige Herremans proved they belonged with a come-from-behind victory in the opening round. The plebe duo posted a 1-6, 7-6(5), 10-3 win to advance to the quarterfinal round.

Herremans and Jackson took on the doubles pairing of Kung/Gong from Yale in the following round, but fell short of a berth in the final four, dropping a 7-6, 6-4 result.

The plebe duo has come on strong in their first seasons under head coach, Paul Peck, posting three doubles wins at the Lehigh Invite and two wins at the ITA Regional Tournament the following weekend.

The plebe duo looks to be a key piece of the Army West Point women's tennis lineup come the start of the Spring season in January.
