Army Finishes 5th at Patriot League Championship

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Army West Point golf team claimed a fifth-place finish in the Patriot League Championship at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
The Black Knights finished the three rounds with a team score of 919 (+79). Loyola held on for the Patriot League Championship after leading following day one. The Greyhounds won the title by 18 strokes and had a team score of 866 (+26).
Brandon Berry of Loyola won the individual title at 1-over par 211 for the three rounds. He shot a 2-over 72 in Sunday's final round. Army's top performer was team captain James McKee and he ended up In a tie for 13th on the player leaderboard at 16-over for the tournament. Dragon Theam was one stroke behind McKee for 16th on the leaderboard.
McKee, Sam McGee and Joseph Gerardi finished their Army careers following today's final round. They finished with one Patriot League Title in 2019 and the trio went 4-0 against Navy in all Star matches.
