Golf Sits 7th After Round Two in Puerto Rico

DORADO, Puerto Rico - The Army West Point golf team continued its great play at the Dorado Beach Collegiate with two more under par rounds and the Black Knights sit in a tie for seventh heading into the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

Army ended up even par as a team on Monday and is 4-under for the tournament. Ball State remains in the lead at 19-under with UNC Greensboro in second at 18-under. Individually, Tom Katsenes is currently in a tie for ninth at 4-under par through the first two rounds. Nick Lyerly of UNC Greensboro leads the way on the leaderboard at 10-under par.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
- Katsenes was once again a steady golfer on day two and birdied his 18th hole to finish his round at 1-under par.
- Dragon Theam shot under par for the second-straight day with a pair of 71 rounds.
- He finished with four birdies and is in a tie for 21st on the leaderboard.
- Samuel Kim cut two strokes from his first round and ended up even par on Monday with three birdies in his final four holes. He rebounded after giving up three shots on the first two holes.
