Golf Ninth After Round One at Bandon Dunes

BANDON, Ore. - The Army West Point golf team wrapped up round one of the Bandon Dunes Championship at the Bandon Dunes Resort and the Black Knights sit ninth on the team leaderboard.
Army shot a 302 (+18) as a team and Kansas leads the way among the schools competing. The Jayhawks are the only team under par at -1 after day one. There is a four-way tie atop the player leaderboard.

The teams are back out on the Sheep Ranch Course at Bandon Dunes for the second day of the tournament with an 8:30 AM PT shotgun start.

- Dragon Theam, Gary Bullard and Joshua Kim all shot an opening round 75 (+4) and all sit in the 39th spot on the player leaderboard.
- James Ballato, who is playing as an individual, also shot a 4-over 75 on day one.
