Army Dominates at First Day of Tropical 7's

TAMPA, Fla. --- Army West Point Women's Rugby was stellar at the first day of the Tropical 7's Tournament compiling a record of 5-1 on Friday.

Army Black claimed the top seed for Pool A after outscoring opponents 151-0. The Black Knights opened the day by defeating Florida 55-0 and followed with another dominate win over Lander University, 54-0. The team closes the day with a 42-0 win over Rock Rugby Academy.

Army Gold claimed the two seed in Pool C after finishing the day 2-1. The team opened the day with a 17-5 win over The Citdel and a 29-0 win over Rowan. The Black Knights battled Davenport but fell 38-0.
