Leo Lowin '24 (football)
A senior and team captain, Cadet Leo Lowin has started in all 11 games so far this season at inside linebacker, totaling a team-high 83 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. In late October, Cadet Lowin was selected as one of 16 finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy, college football's premier scholar-athlete award that annually recognizes an individual as the absolute best in the nation for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. It is considered by many to be the "Academic "Heisman" and nicknamed as such.
In Army's big win over service academy rival Air Force on 11/4, Leo totaled 12 tackles, two forced fumbles and a sack. With that stat line, he became the only Army defender to do so since 2005, when James Nachtigal posted 12+ tackles, 2+ forced fumbles and a sack in the 2018 Armed Forces Bowl vs. Houston. For his career, Leo also has nine games of recording 10+ tackles which ranks fourth most by an Army defender since 2005.
The Austin, TX. native was named a CSC Second Team Academic All-American in 2022 and has made the Dean's list every semester. An Engineering Management major, he has maintained a 3.92 GPA while also continuing to excel (above 3.0) in the Military and Physical pillars.
In the Corps, Leo serves as a Battalion S2. In the community, he helped plan and coordinate a partnership with Team IMPACT, a national non-profit that matches children facing serious health issues with college athletic teams, signing as an honorary member of the team.

In the summer of 2023, Isabella served as the Regimental Commander for Cadet Basic Training, overseeing cadet cadre and the training and development of 1250 new cadets as they entered West Point. She calmly led through an historic flood that devastated West Point, ensuring the safety of all personnel under her command. Currently serving the Deputy Brigade Commander, Isabella's impact continues to resonate throughout the Corps of Cadets. She volunteers her time as a Mounger Writing Fellow and developed a cultural competency training program that was ultimately adopted into Cadet Basic Training for the Class of 2025.
For two years, Isabella has served as a Team Captain for Army Volleyball. Isabella facilitated team character education sessions and led the development of the team values "Grace, Grit, Growth." She has been instrumental in building a positive and winning team culture. On the court, Isabell contributes as both as a setter and defensive specialist. On defense, she racked up 35 digs and 1 block, and on offense, she's scored 4 aces, 1 kill, and 28 assists. Army Volleyball will forever be grateful for her investment in others and her selfless leadership.
