Wrestling Sees Multiple Finalists at Lehman Open

West Point, NY – The Army West Point Wrestling team competed at the Franklin and Marshall Open in Lancaster, PA on Friday and saw seven different Black Knights finish in fifth or above.
Senior Matthew Williams led the way for Army and brought back the gold, finishing first in his weight class (149). The Black Knights took two of the top three medals in the 165 weight class. Junior Dalton Harkins placed second, earning silver followed by the freshman bronze medalist Dakota Morris.
Sophomores Austin Kohlhofer (HWT), Wolfgang Frable (197), Junior Richard Treanor (141), and Senior Dillon Sheehy (174) all placed 5th in their respective divisions.
Up next for Army Wrestling is a home match against Drexel on Sunday, January 14th starting at 1:00 PM.
