Crush Earns Third Patriot League Men’s Swimmer of the Week Title of the Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point Swimming & Diving freshman Johnny Crush earned his third Patriot League Swimmer of the Week title after a series of stellar performances at NC State's Wolfpack Elite Invitational.
Crush, a freshman from Louisville, Ky. had an incredible weekend in Greensboro, N.C. for Army at NC State's three-day invitational meet – the 2024 Wolfpack Elite Invitational.
On the first day, Crush broke the men's 100 back program record for the third time this season with a 45.70 to help Army break the men's 400 medley relay program record by over a second with a 3:08.18.
He then broke the 100 back program record again on Friday with a time of 45.08 to finish first overall in the individual men's 100 back event ahead of swimmers from Virginia Tech, NC State, Arizona State, and Arizona.
On the final day, Crush broke the program record for the men's 100 free, clocking a time of 43.17 in the preliminaries of the event.

Army will host storied rival Navy on Thursday, Dec. 5th in the latest rendition of the Star Meet as part of the Star Series, presented by USAA. The meet's diving events will begin at 3:15pm EST with the swimming events to follow at 5:30pm EST. The meet will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and live results will be available on MeetMobile.
