Men's Tennis Claims Comeback Victory on Senior Day Over St. Bonaventure

WEST POINT, NY - Army West Point men's tennis (11-12, 3-0 Patriot League) secured a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over St. Bonavenutre (8-11, 2-2 Atlantic-10) on senior day from Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
With the match tied at three, it was left up to senior Jake Huarte for the Black Knights, who delivered a three-set victory for the win.
After the Bonnies took the doubles point, Alan Ton got Army started on the singles courts with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 victory to even up the match. After falling behind 2-1, Army once again got a straight set victory after Jack Hanna (7-6, 6-2) got a big tiebreak win in the first set on court six. The Bonnies would get the win on court three to take a 3-2 lead, before Daniel Choi (3-6, 6-1, 7-5) came back from a set down to claim his match at flight five. It all came down to Huarte on court two, who won the first set in a tiebreak before falling 6-1 in the second set. Huarte was able to get the pivotal break before posting a 6-3 win in the third set to give Army the victory on senior day.
