Prior to West Point: A native of Hinsdale, Illinois and a graduate of Nazareth Academy ... played golf in addition to tennis in high school ... was a team captain, made All-State (17', 18', 19'), finished 3rd place in state singles (19'), was a 2x Sectional Champion (17', 19'), and a conference champion in 2019 ... was the Valedictorian, President of the National Honors Society and was named the Male Scholar Athlete of the Year ... both grandfathers served in the military ... one was in the Marine Corps as a transportation officer and retired a Captain and the other was an Airman during the Korean War ...
