Jake Huarte Named to All-Patriot League First Team

Huarte enjoyed a successful campaign at the number one and two flight for the Black Knights, with featured four victories in Patriot League play on the singles courts and two on the doubles courts.
The senior captain for Army had a trio of wins at the No. 2 position against Loyola, Lafayette and Holy Cross which eventually earned him Patriot League Player of the Week on March 26th.
Huarte also had a win at the No. 1 position in a narrow 4-3 victory over Lehigh in the regular season. He added non-conference victories against St. Bonaventure, Quinnipiac and Mercer throughout the campaign.
On the doubles courts, he picked up a pair of wins in the League against both Lafayette and Loyola Maryland while paired up with both Vishnu Bodavula and Michael Rooney. He also tabbed wins over Marist, Sacred Heart, Mercer and Furman this season.
