Women's Soccer Suffers 1-0 Setback Against Holy Cross

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team (7-3-0, 1-1-0 PL) suffered a 1-0 loss to Patriot League foe Holy Cross (5-6-0, 2-0-0 PL) on Wednesday night at Malek Stadium.
The loss was only the third loss at Malek Stadium since the begging of the last season and the first one in league play since Oct. 27, 2021.
Despite doubling the Crusaders in shots 16-8, the Black Knights let in a goal in the 56th minute.
Holy Cross only managed two shots on frame the entire game but still came away with the win at the end of the day. The Black Knights managed six shots on goal but the Crusader keeper was able to turn all of them away.
The Black Knights will look to rebound against Bucknell on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa. at 1 p.m.
