Men’s Soccer Unable to Complete Comeback vs. Lafayette

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Jack Kryger got Army Men's Soccer back into the match with his second goal in as many fixtures, but the Black Knights couldn't equalize after allowing two second half goals and fell 2-1 to the Lafayette Leopards on Saturday at Malek Stadium.
The sides went into halftime without goals, but the visitors quickly drew first blood after halftime with a 52' goal.
Lafayette then padded its edge with a goal in the 61' to go up 2-0.
One match after Kryger scored his first career goal, the Stony Point, N.Y. native finished a ball just outside the six-yard box, bestowing assists to both Kai Thomas and Jabril Bamgbala.

Next Up
Army continues a four-match homestand next Saturday, with a non-league fixture vs. Rider on Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. at Malek Stadium.
