Women’s Tennis’ Sy, Mathivanan, Smith and Brilliant Head to ITA Masters Qualifier

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's tennis' will send four players to the ITA Masters Qualifier at Lehigh October 24-26.

The event serves as the Patriot League Individual Tennis Championships, with the tournament champions advancing to the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego.

Representing the Black Knights are Emma Sy and Vennmukiil Mathivanan in singles, and Madison Smith and Isabella Brilliant in Doubles.

So far through the 2025 fall campaign, Sy is 7-5 in singles, while Mathivanan has posted a 4-4 record in singles. Meanwhile, when paired together, Smith and Brilliant are 10-1 in doubles this season.

The singles and doubles draw winners will advance to the ITA Conference Masters Championships, held November 6-9 at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. That event will serve as the qualifying event for the NCAA Championships.
