WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point women's soccer secured their second Patriot League victory of the season in a 3-0 victory on Saturday night over the Colgate Raiders (5-4-4, Patriot League, 2-1-1). In tonight's win for Army (8-4-1, Patriot League, 2-2-0), senior Brigid Duffy earned her second brace of the season. Additionally, Head Coach Tracy Chao earned her 50^th victory at Army.

How It Happened

The Black Knights opened the scoring at 20:29 off a strike from senior Brigid Duffy. Freshman Megan Youngberg placed a beautiful thru ball to Duffy. Duffy took the ball around the Colgate goalkeeper as she came out and put it into the empty net.
Freshman Sophia Henry netted her seventh of the campaign at 41:46 to double the Army lead. Henry took a long ball strike from just outside the box that hit the upper 90 to make it 2-0.
Coming out of the half, Army picked up right where they left off with another strike from Duffy just a minute and half into the second half. Henry found Duffy with a thru ball. Duffy collected the pass and carried the ball into the box past the Colgate backline. The senior took a shot that went in on the bottom right to make it 3-0.
