Women’s Tennis Travels to DC Area for Commander-in-Chief’s Tennis Challenge

ARLINGTON, Va. – Army West Point women's tennis is set to travel to Arlington, Va. to face off against Navy, Air Force, and Georgetown in the Commander-In-Chief's Tennis Challenge.

Emily Ruckno leads the Black Knights in wins in both singles (nine) and doubles (eight). Ruckno also has a perfect 6-0 record in doubles when teamed up with Olivia Mellynchuck.

A season ago, the Black Knights posted a combined 12-6 record across doubles and singles, winning a majority of matches against both the Midshipmen and Falcons.

The team is back in action Oct. 24-26, to play in the ITA Masters Qualifier in Bethlehem Pa.
