Maisi Sigler Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Maisi Sigler received her first-ever Patriot League honor on Monday, being named this week's Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
It is now the third consecutive week where one of the Black Knights' freshmen has received the honor, with freshman utility player Annie Christiana being named the Rookie of the Week in the two weeks previous to Sigler being given the honor.
Maisi Sigler finished the week batting .400 with six hits and three RBIs while adding six putouts in the Black Knights' 5-0 week.
The outfielder recorded three hits and an RBI in the first game of Army's doubleheader against Rider.
Sophomore Katelyn Flanders also received an honorable mention in the honors this week. Flanders threw the Black Knights' first complete game no-hitter since 2017, finishing the week with a 0.00 ERA and holding batters to two hits in 9.2 innings pitched.
Sigler and the rest of the Black Knights will be back on the diamond on Wednesday, this time on the road in South Orange, New Jersey, taking on the Seton Hall Pirates.
The doubleheader against the Pirates will be on Wednesday with first pitch times scheduled for 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the games airing live on FloSports.
