Softball Reveals 2026 Schedule

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point softball and head coach Jen Consaul revealed its 2026 schedule, including trips to Florida, Georgia, Texas and North Carolina, a weekend tournament at St. John's, three home midweek matchups and six Patriot League weekend series.
The Black Knights finished the 2025 season 35-22 overall with a 16-2 conference record. The sixteen wins in conference wins set a program record for most Patriot League wins in a season.
Army also finished the season as the Patriot League regular season champion, claiming the title outright for the first time since 2010.
Junior Ashton White was named Patriot League Player of the Year, while head coach Jen Consaul was named Coach of the Year.
A program record nine Black Knights were named to a Patriot League All-League Team, with three being named to the First Team (Ashton White, Taylor Brown and Katelyn Flanders) and six being named to the Second Team (Annie Christiana, Sienna Tepley, Caitlyn Newburn, Emma Murchison, Maaika Dones and Breanna Izzo). All players but Maaika Dones returns to Army's roster this season.
The Black Knights finished the Patriot League Championship as the runner-up, earning two wins against the No. 4 seed Bucknell Bison and two losses against the No. 2 seed Boston University.
FULL SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN;
The Black Knights' season begins on February 6-8, with the team heading to Boca Raton, Fla., to play a three-day tournament hosted by Florida Atlantic at the FAU Softball Stadium.
Army will play five games while in the Sunshine State, including two matchups against Wisconsin, Indiana, Delaware and Ohio State.
Then, Army heads just north of Florida, heading to Sikes Field in Macon, Ga., for the MUSB Invitational, hosted by Mercer, from Feb. 13-15.
While at the MUSB Invitational, the Black Knights will open the tournament playing Western Kentucky, also playing Iowa twice, host Mercer, and then will play WKU for a second time to close the tournament.
Next, Army will head to Stephenville, Texas and the Tarleton Softball Complex for the Texan Classic from Feb. 20-22.
Army takes on Pitt to open the tournament, then will take on Tulsa, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and host Tarleton State before ending the tournament with a second game against Pitt.
To open the month of March and for their fourth tournament of the season, the Black Knights head to Wilmington, North Carolina, and Boseman Field from March 6-8.
While in North Carolina, the Black Knights face off with Toledo and UNC-Greensboro, playing two games against each, while also taking on tournament host UNC-Wilmington.
To wrap up tournament play, the Black Knights head just south of West Point to Queens and Red Storm Field from March 14-15. The Black Knights will not only play host St. John's twice, but will also play Harvard twice.
Army will open its home schedule inside the newly renovated Army Softball Complex on March 18, hosting Fairfield for a midweek matchup. The Black Knights return to New Jersey on March 21, taking on Rider University. The Black Knights will then head to the Bronx on March 25 for a doubleheader against Fordham.
Patriot League play will begin for the Black Knights on May 28-29, hosting the Lafayette Leopards inside the Army Softball Complex.
Army will then be on the road the following week, first playing a doubleheader in Hackensack, N.J., against FDU on April 1. The team will then head upstate to Hamilton, N.Y., on April 4-5.
The Black Knights then stay home at the Army Softball Complex for two and a half weeks.
Army opens the homestand on April 8, hosting Seton Hall for doubleheader action. Then, conference rival Lehigh comes to West Point on March 11-12.
The next week, the Black Knights host Iona for a midweek game on April 15, then will take on Boston U on April 18-19, a rematch of the 2025 Patriot League Championship.
The Black Knights conclude their homestand and play inside the Army Softball Complex during the regular season on April 22, hosting St. Peter's in their final midweek game of the regular season.
Army will conclude its league play schedule with two consecutive road series, first heading to Lewisburg, Pa., to take on Bucknell on May 2-3. The Black Knights will conclude their regular season on May 2-3, playing Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
The Patriot League Tournament is set for May 7-9, with the regular season champion slated to host the tournament. Last year, the Black Knights hosted the postseason season tournament for the first time since 2010.
