Golf Wraps Up Regular Season at Mountaineer Invitational

BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Army West Point golf team was in action this week at the Mountaineer Invitational at Pete Dye Golf Club.
The Black Knights finished 18th with a team score of 965 (+101). Oklahoma State won the team title at even par for the tournament. Eric Lee ran away with the individual title after winning by eight strokes at 6-under for the tournament. His round one 67 put him out in front and he never relinquished the lead.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Griffin Garvin and Drew Jeffords had Army's low rounds of the weekend with two 75 scores.
• Garvin posted his score during round one with four birdies on the day.
• Jeffords also recorded four birdies in his second round, which was suspended on day one and moved to day two due to weather.
Up next for the Black Knights is the Patriot League Championship on April 25-27 at Bucknell Golf Club.
