Eicher, Coletti Earn Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The No. 4-ranked Army West Point men's lacrosse team saw two of its team members selected for Patriot League honors after a 20-11 win over Bucknell at home on Senior Day. Jackson Eicher earned his third Offensive Player of the Week title while Will Coletti picked up his third Faceoff Specialist of the Week title.
Eicher led an explosive Army offense to a 20-11 win over the Bucknell Bison with a career-high 10 points from a career-high seven goals and three assists.
The Warrenton, Va. native was aggressive in the offensive end, firing off a game-high 11 shots and landing nine on target.
Eicher also picked up a pair of ground balls and recorded a caused turnover to help the Black Knights dominate the neutral zone game.
With his standout performances this season, Eicher now stands fourth all-time in program history for goals in a season (45) and tied for fourth in program history for points in a season (73) and maintains his position on the national leaderboards for goals per game (2nd – 3.75) and points per game (3rd – 5.50).
Coletti was a dominating force for Army at the faceoff stripe, going 19-for-25 against Bucknell to help Army win 23 of the 34 total faceoffs on Saturday.
The season best in faceoff wins for Coletti helped him set a new Patriot League record for career faceoff wins as his 12th faceoff win of the day helped him pass former Lehigh faceoff specialist Mike Sisselberger's career total of 742. Coletti now totals 750 career faceoff wins.
Coletti was a massive presence in the midfield for Army, racking up a season-high 11 ground balls on Saturday to help Army claim 36 ground balls to Bucknell's 24.
The Monrovia, Md. native added a pair of assists to his tally to bring him to 31 career points.
