Baseball’s Jack Quinlan Named Buster Posey Award Semifinalist

WICHITA, Kan. – Army West Point Baseball's Jack Quinlan has been named a Buster Posey Award Semifinalist.
The Buster Posey Award recognizes the best overall catcher across collegiate baseball.
The junior from Long Island is batting .331 heading into Monday night's Game 2 of the Patriot League Championship Series at Holy Cross, has hit five home runs on the year and carries a team-high 1.017 OPS.
Quinlan went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and a pair of doubles in Game 1 of Patriot League Semifinal Series at Navy, before driving in a run in Army's Game 3 win a day later to secure the series. Additionally, he currently carries a 19-game on-base streak.
The April 14 Patriot League Player of the Week, Quinlan was also named to the Patriot League All-Conference Second Team.
