Peck Named Patriot League Coach of the Year, Four Black Knights Earn All-Conference Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point Women's Tennis Head Coach Paul Peck has been named Patriot League Women's Tennis Coach of the Year.

It is the 17th time Peck has won the conference's coach of the year accolade, having last collected the award in 2022. Peck—already the academy's all time winningest head coach across all sports—finishes his 30thseason at the helm with a 577-263 overall record, and 16 league titles.

The 1984 graduate of Illinois guided Army to a 24-6 overall record in 2024-25, with an 8-0 record in Patriot League regular season action. Army defeated Navy 4-1 April 5 for its first win in the Star Series Presented by USAA since 2022. The Black Knights claimed the No. 1-seed at the 2025 Patriot League Championships and finished runner-up.Â
Peck was guided by his staff of associate head coach Martha Rowley and first year full-time assistant coach Ari Roberts, both of whom being instrumental pieces to the Black Knights' success this season. Â
Four Black Knights players were named to the Second Team All-League. Seniors Cooper Jackson and Jenna Sabile, plus juniors Vennmukiil Mathivanan and Emma Sy each garnered all-conference honors. Jackson and Sabile solidified the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles spots in 2025. Mathivanan finished the season 10-3 in dual singles matches and 6-0 in Patriot League matches, while Sy finished 26-4 in overall singles and 8-1 in Patriot League singles matches.Â
