Five Black Knights Earn CRAA All-American Honors

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – CRAA Rugby has announced the 2024-25 D1A All-American team, with five Army West Point Rugby cadet-athletes making the list.

Hooker Andrew Bardak, center Benji Kemp, tighthead prop Gabe Savage, lock George Engels and fullback Nate Gould each garnered All-American honors.

The All-American designation celebrates excellence in athletic performance, leadership, and sportsmanship throughout the D1A collegiate rugby season. These athletes have demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment, earning their place among the nation's elite.

The Black Knights compiled an 11-4 overall record in 2024-25, including a seven-match win streak from October 12 to March 8, including a win over academy rival Air Force November 1.

Kemp's 10 tries led the team this season, totaling 50 points. Savage, Engels and Gould each factored into the scoresheet in 24-25, with Bardak starring in scrums and setting up the attack.
