Henry’s First Career Brace Leads Women's Soccer to First Win of the 2025 Season

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Army West Point women's soccer earned a 4-1 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers (0-1-1) on Sunday morning. Army (1-1-0) was led by freshman Sophia Henry's first career brace.
The Black Knights scored three goals in the first 45 minutes, before senior Brigid Duffy added an insurance goal in the 62nd minute.

- The Black Knights started hot with two shots less than 10 minutes into the game. Army drew a corner kick at 16:20 to help open the game's scoring. Cami Silvestro kicked the ball into the box, where it connected with sophomore Daisy West, who headed it for the first goal of the 2025 season.
- In the 23rd minute, the Black Knights drew a Manhattan yellow card that helped result in freshman Sophia Henry's first collegiate goal. Freshman Ailyn Rowe kicked the ball in from the corner kick into the box, where is bounced around before finding Henry who knocked it in for the goal.
- Just under three minutes later at 26:65, Henry struck again on a lead ball from Bella Cooke. Cooke placed the ball perfectly to lead Henry, who tapped it around the Manhattan goalkeeper.
- Before the end of the half, the Jaspers got back a goal to close out the first 45 with a 3-1 Black Knights lead.
- Coming out of the half, Army senior Brigid Duffy sprinted past the Jasper defender and netted her first of the season at 62:57.
