WEST POINT, NEW YORK – The Army A Club is proud to launch the 1890 Society, a new philanthropic giving society supporting all 30 varsity athletics programs, and to share details on new Army A Club membership levels.
New Army A Club Membership Levels
Starting in 2027, the Army A Club will offer new annual membership levels.

1890 Society
Launching in 2027, the 1890 Society recognizes donors who have made a transformational impact on Army West Point Athletics.
In 1890, the United States Military Academy fielded its first intercollegiate athletic programs, baseball and football. The historic milestone forever transformed the Academy into more than the nation's preeminent military academy; the Army added an equally elite athletics program. Since 1890, Army West Point Athletics has focused on recruiting, educating, training, and inspiring leaders of character committed to the Army values through an extraordinary intercollegiate athletics experience.
"The 1890 Society is an opportunity for transformational investment in a critical component of cadet leadership development: athletics," said Tom Theodorakis, Director of Athletics and CEO of the Army West Point Athletic Association. "In this new era of college athletics, it is critical that our cadet-athletes have the resources they need to compete for championships. When Army teams take to the fields of friendly strife, the expectation is that they compete to win. The society will transform the next era of Army West Point Athletics, as there is no greater investment than in Army West Point cadet-athletes, as they develop into the next era of leaders in your United States Army."
Donors who pledge a minimum of $250,000 to Army West Point Athletics over a maximum of a five-year period will receive membership in the 1890 Society. Pledges can be a cumulative total of commitments to any of the following athletic funds: Army A Club, sport-specific team funds, sport-specific team endowments, and/or athletic facility enhancement funds. The 1890 Society will offer two membership levels: 1890 Black ($250,000 payable over five years) and 1890 Gold ($500,000 payable over five years).

Your Priority Points Are Now Available Online
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the Army A Club member experience, we are pleased to announce that your priority points are now available to view through your online account. This provides you with direct and instant access to your current priority point total, allowing you to easily track your standing and better understand your priority within your membership level as well as your overall Army A Club ranking.
The Army A Club uses a priority system designed to ensure a fair and equitable allocation of access to Army West Point Athletics benefits. The system rewards both loyalty and total dollar contributions in support of Army West Point Athletics and is used to help facilitate access to Army-Navy tickets, football season parking, postseason tickets, including NCAA tournaments and bowl games, and more.
The Army A Club determines overall priority based on current-year Army A Club membership level first and priority points second. Your membership level is based on paid donations made during the current calendar year, while priority points are then used to determine priority within that membership level. This approach recognizes both current-year giving and a member's lifetime support of Army West Point Athletics.
Members earn priority points in several ways, including current-year donations, season ticket purchases, lifetime giving to athletics, and consecutive years of athletics giving. To better understand the overall priority system as well as how points are calculated, please reference the priority page on the Army A Club website.
