Robby Manse Named Field Athlete of the Week
February 10, 2026 | Men's Track and Field
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After a pair of first place finishes at the Army-Navy Star Meet, Robby Manse was named the Patriot League Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Manse won both the shot put and weight throw events. In the shot put, he hit a mark of 17.91m, which is the number one mark in the Patriot League this indoor season and the fourth-best throw in program history.
The senior thrower hit 20.53m in the weight throw, which is the second-best throw in the conference this season and second in program history.
"Robby always shows up when we need him the most, and he is at his best every time he goes head-to-head with Navy," said Brian Woodbury, assistant coach/throws. "Like clockwork, he has a personal best or seasons best every single time. His 17.91m mark in the shot put was a new indoor personal best, and 20.53m in the weight throw was only a few centimeters off his personal best that he set the previous week. He will be at his best again in a few weeks at the Patriot League Championship."
Manse has been named the Field Athlete of the Week three times this season.
