Softball's Ashton White, Amanda Eaglin Named in Patriot League Weekly Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Army West Point softball earned two Patriot League weekly honors on Monday, with seniors Ashton White and Amanda Eaglin earning the first honors of the 2026 season.
Ashton White was named this week's Patriot League Player of the Week, and Amanda Eaglin was named the Pitcher of the Week.
At the MUSB Invitational, White finished the week with a .462 batting average, a .500 on-base percentage and a .692 slugging percentage.
She added a team-best six hits over four games, reaching base seven times, also adding a team-high five RBIs plus two runs.
White hit her second home run of the season on February 13 against Iowa, also adding her first stolen base of the season. She also finished with a 1.000 batting average against Iowa on Feb. 14, with two hits, two RBIs and one walk.
As for Amanda Eaglin, the senior finished the week with a team-high 16 strikeouts in three appearances and 12.2 total innings of action, also finishing the week with only a 2.21 ERA.
Against Western Kentucky, Eaglin only allowed one earned run in six innings of starting action, also adding eight strikeouts. In Army's matchup against Mercer, Eaglin posted a 0.00 ERA in 4.1 innings in relief, only allowing three hits.
Up next, White, Eaglin and the rest of the Black Knights will head to the Lone Star State for the Texan Classic. They will head to Stephenville, Texas, to take on Tulsa, Pitt, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and tournament host, Tarleton State.
The tournament begins on February 20 and runs through Feb. 22, with Army's game against host Tarleton State on Feb. 21 scheduled to stream live on WAC International.
