Rifle Dominates NCAA Qualifier; Antwiler Leads on Senior Day

The Army West Point Black Knights rifle team delivered a dominant performance, capturing victories on Saturday over MIT and Norwich in its NCAA Qualifying match, commanding 4,686 aggregate score.
Saturday's match also represented senior day as the rifle program celebrated its lone senior, Chris Jennings.
Army posted a 2,323 in smallbore and an impressive 2,363 in air rifle, comfortably outdistancing MIT (4,470) and Norwich University (4,374). The Black Knights' depth was on full display, placing nine shooters inside the top 10 overall.
Leading the way was Addison Antwiler, who claimed the top spot in individual aggregate with an outstanding 1,176 (587 smallbore, 589 air rifle). Antwiler's 587 in smallbore topped the field, while her 589 in air rifle tied for third overall, capping a championship-caliber performance.
Ashton Arlington finished second overall with a 1,171 (582 SB, 589 AR), followed closely by Chris Jennings in third at 1,170 (576 SB, 594 AR). Jennings' 594 in air rifle was the top score of the match, highlighting Army's strength in the discipline. Hannah Dufresne placed fourth overall with a 1,169, while Brenna Green rounded out the top five with a 1,160 aggregate.
Army's dominance extended throughout both disciplines. In smallbore, the Black Knights claimed the top five spots, paced by Antwiler's match-best 587. In air rifle, Army shooters occupied seven of the top 12 positions, underscoring the team's balance and consistency.
