Rifle Places Fourth at GARC Championships While Earning New Program Records

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point rifle finished up their team competitive portion of the 2025-26 season on Sunday afternoon hosting the GARC Championships. The Black Knights finished in fourth place with a 4714-293x, a new program aggregate score. Army West Point was awarded the GARC Sportsmanship Award for the 2026 season and Bohan Yang was Army's GARC Scholar Athlete of the Year.
On the first day of the championships, the Black Knights secured a new program record in the smallbore discipline securing a 2345 score and finished day one in a tie for fourth place with Kentucky. Ashton Arlington was the highest finisher in the smallbore discipline for the Black Knights with a 588-28x coming in 12th place individually.
Moving into the second day of competition in the air rifle discipline, the Black Knights shot a 2369.Chris Jennings was the highest finisher for the Black Knights in the air rifle discipline with a 595-45x.

The Black Knights will now move into the offseason as a team, while NCAA Air Rifle Qualifier Addison Antwiler will continue to compete as an individual at the upcoming NCAA Championships on March 14 at the Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio.
