Wrestling’s Basile Selected to NCAA Championships as an At-Large Qualifier

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Army West Point wrestling's Braden Basile has been selected to the NCAA Championships as an at-large qualifier.
Basile will return to the NCAA Championships for the second time, having previously qualified two seasons ago at 133 lbs. Last week, Basile finished fourth at the EIWA Championships after reaching the semifinals, defeating Drexel's Jordan Soriano by fall in the quarterfinals.
Army now has four participants set to compete March 19-21 at Cleveland's Rocket Arena, with Ethan Berginc (133 lbs), Gunner Filipowicz (165 lbs) and Brady Colbert (285 lbs) having already punched their tickets via automatic qualification at the EIWA Championships last weekend.
Brackets and seeding will be announced Wednesday night on NCAA.com at 8:00 p.m. ET.
