Richman and Lee Earn Weekly Track and Field Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After impressive weeks on the track, Charlotte Richman was named Women's Track Athlete of the Week, while Andrew Lee was named Men's Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Richman, a native Portland, Ore., had a historic weekend at the Raleigh Relays, as she set a new program record in the 5,000m. She record a remarkable 15:52.42 to finish 10th – sixth among collegiate entries. The time ranks first in the Patriot League and sixth in the country. She also competed in the 1,500m and finished 34th.

Freshman Andrew Lee had a dominant showing in the 3,000m steeplechase at the UCF Knights Invitational, where he finished first with a time of 9:15.04. It's the third-best time in the Patriot League this season.

Army track and field will be back in action this week at the Florida Relays in Gainesville.
