Duffy and Reilly Earn Patriot League Weekly Awards

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's lacrosse senior Brigid Duffy and Allison Reilly earned Patriot League weekly awards as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Duffy was named the midfielder of the week for the second time this season, while Reilly earned her first attacker of the week award of the season.
The two combined for 26 points across the two games for the Black Knights this past week, as well as 14 goals and 12 assists in both Black Knight victories, including a Patriot League opening victory at Boston U.
Brigid Duffy appeared and started in both Black Knights victories this past week. She finished the week with 10 goals, four assists and 14 points. She scored six goals and seven points at Boston U., which are the most in the Patriot League game this season for points and goals. Additionally, she added 16 shots with 11 on net, six ground ball and six caused turnovers and seven draw controls. On Wednesday against Fairfield, Duffy recorded four goals on four shots for a 1.000 shot percentage. Additionally, added her 200th career goal making her the first Black Knight in program history to achieve this feat.
Allison Reilly appeared and started in both Black Knight wins at attack. Reilly finished the week with 12 points, four goals, eight assists. Additionally, she added 14 shots with eight on net, along with three caused turnovers and seven draw controls.
