Men’s Tennis Sweeps Boston in Home Finale

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team wrapped up its home schedule with a dominant 4-0 win over Boston U., on Sunday afternoon at the Malek Tennis Center, as it remains undefeated in Patriot League play.
Army (17-9, 5-0) will have a chance to win the Patriot League regular season championship and secure the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament with a win against Navy next Saturday in Annapolis.
The Black Knights got off to a dominant start in doubles to jump ahead 1-0 early. Jack Hanna and Daniel Choi picked up a quick 6-0 win in the top spot, while Jimin Jung and Matias Feoli won 6-0 at No. 2.
Singles was just as impressive for Army, as the Black Knights quickly jumped ahead 2-0, as Tucker Culpepper recorded a win at No. 6 thanks to Boston U., retiring before the match started.
The lead quickly moved to 3-0, as Boston U., retired in the top singles spot with Jackson Armistead leading 4-2.
Hanna clinched the match for Army in the No. 5 spot, winning 7-6, 6-0.

Army and Navy are set for the Star Match, which is part of the Army-Navy Star Series presented by USAA, in Annapolis next Saturday. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
