No. 13/13 Women’s Lacrosse Earns Program Best Seven All-Patriot League Selections

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point women's lacrosse earned a program best seven All-Patriot League conference selections as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Additionally, the Black Knights claimed three major awards: Allison Reilly won Attacker of the Year; Brigid Duffy won Midfielder of the Year and the Coaching Staff of the Year. Army tied for the most selections from an individual school. The Black Knights had a program best four First Team All-Patriot League Selections: Brigid Duffy, Allison Reilly, Sarah Chernik, Lily Valentini. Army also added three more on the second team: Lindsey Serafine, Meghan Pedrani, Ryan Remaly.

Brigid Duffy, Patriot League First Team & Midfielder of the Year, Senior
- Finished the Regular Season leading the conference in goals per game (3.88 per game) and first in total goals (62)
- Ranks first in the conference in caused turnovers (44), first in ground balls (45) and fifth in the nation in goals and goals per game, eighth in nation Caused Turnovers (44).
- Additionally, is the second highest active career goal scorer with 244 goals across NCAA D1 lacrosse and second highest in points with 300 and is one of four active players in D1 with 300 career points
- Was named a Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Finalist as well as a First Team Nike Lacrosse Midseason All-American
Allison Reilly, Patriot League First Team & Attacker of the Year, Senior
- Was named a Tewaaraton Award Top 25 Finalist as well as a First Team Nike Lacrosse Midseason All-American
- Currently the active D1 assists leader with 165 career assists and ranks first in the country in assists, second in the country in assists per game, on top of this she leads the conference in assists and assists per game
- Ranked second in the country in points and points per game and leads the conference in both categories, while also setting a new program single season point and assists record. On top of this she also set a new program record for assists in a game
Coaching Staff of the Year, Michelle Tumolo, Sammy Cermack, Charlotte Sofield, Jordan Dean
- Recorded the second most wins in program history so far and finished the regular season with the second-best win percentage in program history
- Earned two ranked wins against then No. 5 Yale and No. 16 Loyola and broke Loyola's regular season undefeated record with a 18-10 win at Michie Stadium
- The Black Knights have earned their highest ranking in program history at 13 in each of the three polls.
Sarah Chernik, Patriot League First Team, Senior
- Appeared and started in all 16 games for the Black Knights on the defensive end helping Army to the second lowest goals against total among the conference, while earning two Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week awards
- Recorded 24 caused turnovers and 78 draw controls, leading all Black Knights in draw controls in the season
- Tied/Broke the Army West Point single game draw control record with 12 draw controls
Lindsey Serafine, Patriot League Second Team, Senior
- Ranks second in the conference in save percentage and has recorded 11 games with over a .400 save percentage for the Black Knights
- Broke the Army West Point program career saves record and has recorded over 400 saves in her career
- Started in all of Army West Point games in between the pipes and is Army West Point's all-time career win's leader and broke the Army West Point senior single season saves record
Meghan Pedrani, Patriot League Second Team, Senior
- Appeared and started in all 16 games for the Black Knights on the defensive end helping Army to the second lowest goals against total among the conference
- Recorded her first collegiate goal and assist as a defender
- Finished the season with 23 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers
Ryan Remaly, Patriot League Second Team, Junior
- Was a crucial component on the midfield for the Black Knights starting in all 16 games for the regular season champions.
- Earned two game-winning goals both against ranked opponents in Loyola Maryland and Yale
- Recorded a new career high in goals, shots, shots on goals and ground balls
