Henry, Pohlidal Named Patriot League Women's Soccer Players of the Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army West Point women's soccer standouts Sophia Henry and Grace Pohlidal were tabbed the Patriot League Forward of the Week and Midfielder of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced Monday.
Henry delivered the go-ahead goal in the 89th minute to lift the Black Knights past Cornell, 1-0, on Thursday at Malek Stadium at Clinton Field, finishing off an assist from Makaela Morrell for the game-winner. The late strike marked the second goal of the season for Henry.
Pohlidal anchored the midfield in the win, leading Army with four shots on the day and helping control the tempo throughout as the Black Knights secured their third win of the season.
Army improved to 3-6-0 on the season with the victory over Cornell and will look to build on the weekly honors as the Black Knights begin Patriot League play.
