Women's Rugby Falls to Dartmouth In Opener

HANOVER, N.H. – Army West Point women's rugby fell to Dartmouth, 41-8, Saturday morning in Hanover, N.H. in the 2026 Fall season opener.
Dartmouth got off to a quick start, scoring a try 56 seconds into the match before converting in the 2nd minute to take a 7-0 lead. The Big Green then added another try in the 10th minute to extend their lead to 12-0 over the Black Knights.
In the 23rd minute, Army got on the scoreboard, converting a penalty kick by Emily Steen, and cutting Dartmouth's lead to 12-3.
Dartmouth then added a try in the 56th minute before scoring four more tries over the final 25 minutes of the match to build a 41-8 advantage.
Army scored on a try by Chloe De Leon in the 74th minute, bringing the score to 36-8, but Dartmouth answered less than three minutes later in the 76th minute with its final try of the match to secure the 41-8 victory.
