2020: Started in all seven contests for the Cadets ... Led an Army backline who allowed the third fewest goals per game in the Patriot League (1.15) ... Led the team in minutes, logging 623 minutes on the pitch ... Started at defense in a win over Navy (Apr. 25) to secure the Arm-Navy Cup win for the Cadets.
2019: Started in all seven matches he played in as a junior … helped the backline post a shutout win over Mount St. Mary’s (9/17) … took a shot against Columbia (9/13) and Colgate (9/28).
2018: Appeared in 16 matches while making 14 starts ... finished the year with three goals, one assist and seven points ... made his collegiate debut in the season opener versus Seton Hall (8/24) ... started in his first match at San Diego State (9/1) ... scored his first career goal at Siena (9/11) ... added another score versus the Saints for his first multi-goal performance ... tallied a goal at Mount St. Mary's (9/15) ... assisted on one of the Black Knights' four goals in a 4-1 victory over the Midshipmen in the Army-Navy Cup.
2017: Did not see any game action during his freshman season.
Background: Joined the Black Knights from Campton United ... Prior to that he played for Chicago Magic PSG of the FC United Soccer Club, a team that is well-known in Illinois and around the country due to being in the USSDA ... Whiteman also attended Elgin High School, where he played varsity soccer for one year ... While there, he was a member of the National Honor Society and was elected as the Student Body President by his peers.
