Prior to West Point: Attended Brookfield Academy in Brookfield, Wis....Played for the Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club...Was named a two-time Second-Team All-Conference selection and earned Brookfield's MVP award...Was an honor roll student and graduated with honors...Was an American Legion Badger Girls State Delagate...Earned the Brookfield Academy Leadership Award and the Brookfield Academy Character Award...Also competed in track and field...Has a relative active in the Navy.
